Great brunch in Athens for a Sunday morning
Kyrios Xou( Mr. Who) is one of my favorite places in Petralona. A beautiful neighborhood under the Filopappos Hill. I usually go there every Sunday with my dog if I want to enjoy one of the best brunches in town. The mysterious Kyrios Xou doesn’t like formalities and the team behind Kyrios Xou tried to convert a neoclassic building into a very cozy space that makes you feel like home.

A big advantage of this place are the colorful walls in the shades of the green color and the very high ceilings. All of these, together with the marble tables and the wooden chairs, pop out the elaborately mosaics on the floor. The whole Kyrios Xou set-up highlights this old fashioned beauty.

One of the highlights, is the beautiful backyard that is full of white hanging lights. An ideal space if someone wants to enjoy a cocktail during the summer nights.

What you can expect when you visit Kyrios Xou are the delicious dishes made only from fresh Greek products that come from producers all over Greece. The dishes don’t skimp on size and according to my taste Kyrios Xou serves one of the best pancakes in Athens. They are full body on flavors and smell, matching perfectly your tea or coffee.

After all Kyrios Xou is an extremely photogenic and friendly space. An ideal place to enjoy the company of your friends on a Sunday morning.
